NCA inhibited HepG2 cell proliferation and induced changes in cell morphology. (a–c) HepG2 cells were exposed to NCA for 24, 48, and 72 h, respectively, and the cell viability was determined by MTT assay. (d) After NCA treatment for 48 h, the morphological changes of HepG2 cells were observed under a phase contrast microscope. (e) Hoechst 33258 staining was used to examine the morphological change of HepG2 cells after exposure to NCA for 48 h. and , compared with the control group.
