Danshen Attenuates Intervertebral Disc Degeneration via Antioxidation in SD Rats

<div>GSH, SOD2 and MDA content in tail IVDs of each group. Significant decrease in GSH (a) and SOD2 (b) content in IDD group was observed compared with the control group and this decrease was significantly alleviated by Danshen treatment. Significant increase in MDA (c) content in IDD group was observed compared with the control group. However, this increase was significantly alleviated by Danshen treatment in the Danshen IDD group.
