Hydrogen Sulfide Protects Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells from Oxidative Stress-Induced Apoptosis and Affects Autophagy

<div>3-MA inhibits H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>-induced cell death by PI/Hoechst 33342 staining. The autophagy inhibitor 3-MA ameliorates cell morphological damage induced by H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>. ARPE-19 cells were stained with PI and Hoechst 33342 after being pretreated with 3-MA for 3 h and then exposed to H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> for 24 h.
