MIF-KO accentuates oxidative stress-induced senescence of the NP cell via depressing mitophagy: (a) mitophagy in NP cells was determined by observation of GFP-LC3 and MitoTracker Red colabeled autophagosomes and mitochondria. (b) The electron micrographs of mitochondria and autophagosomes were observed via TEM, and double-membrane profiles resembling pieces of digested mitochondria were found in some autophagosomes in the high-compression loading group.
