Salidroside Suppresses the Proliferation and Migration of Human Lung Cancer Cells through AMPK-Dependent NLRP3 Inflammasome Regulation

Effects of salidroside (SAL) on AMPK activity and NLRP3 inflammasome activation in A549 cells exposed to LPS. (a) A549 cells were treated with 10 μg/ml LPS for 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, and 48 h, and the levels of phosphorylated-AMPK, total-AMPK, NLRP3, caspase-1, and IL-1β in the cell lysates were determined by immunoblotting. (b) A549 cells were cotreated with 10 μg/ml LPS and various concentrations of SAL (10, 20, and 40 μM) for 12 h. The levels of phosphorylated-AMPK, total-AMPK, NLRP3, caspase-1, and IL-1β in the cell lysates were then determined by immunoblotting. and vs. treatment without LPS; # and ## vs. treatment with LPS alone.
