bLf internalizes and causes DU-145 cell damage. DU-145 cells were incubated with apo- and holo-bLf labeled with FITC for 24 h at 8 and 16 mg/mL concentrations. The images were obtained using fluorescence confocal microscopy (LSM 510 META Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope) and EC Plan-Neofluar 40x/1.30 Oil DIC M27 (Zeiss Inc.) objective lens. The white bars represent a distance of 40 μm.
