Neurofilament Light Chain (NF-L) Stimulates Lipid Peroxidation to Neuronal Membrane through Microglia-Derived Ferritin Heavy Chain (FTH) Secretion

Effects of NF-L treatments on the changes in FTH-containing exosome from microglia. Microglia was treated with an increasing dose of NF-L for 48 h after which the levels of FTH-containing exosome were analyzed by ELISA. A significant increase in the level of FTH-containing exosome () is observed above 0.5 μg/ml NF-L compared with control.
