Tongnao decoction (TND) mitigated the progression of atherosclerosis in ApoE-deficient mice. The ApoE-/- mice were given a gavage of TND at a dose of 1 mg/kg per day (TND) or normal saline (AS) for 12 weeks after right carotid artery partial ligation.
