LPS- and proinflammatory cytokine-induced A20 expression in different lung cell lines. HPMEC-ST1.6R (a, b) and A549 cells (c, d) were incubated with or without LPS (100 ng/mL), IL-1β (10 ng/mL), or TNF-α (10 ng/mL) for the indicated time. Real-time PCR of A20 mRNA was performed after 4 h, 16 h, or 24 h (a, c) and western blot analysis was carried out after 12 h, 24 h, or 48 h (b, d). Relative mRNA (protein) levels of A20 were calculated by normalizing signals to detected β-actin mRNA (protein).
