Modulation of the p38 MAPK Pathway by Anisomycin Promotes Ferroptosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma through Phosphorylation of H3S10

Ferroptosis of HCC cells was stimulated by anisomycin (AN) through the p38 MAPK signaling pathway. (a) Cell death was measured by flow cytometry. Ferrostatin-1 (Ferr-1) and SB203580 (SB) were used to inhibit ferroptosis, thus rescuing cells. (b–d) The assays showed that the content of intracellular iron, lipid peroxidation (LPO), and malondialdehyde (MDA) in HCC cells increased after AN treatment (2.5 μM for Hep3B or 5 μM for HCCLM3). ; , , and .
