Crosstalk between autophagy and Nrf2 pathway under oxidative stress. When Nrf2 pathway is activated following exposure to excess ROS, or autophagy dysregulation, Nrf2 translocates to the nucleus and binds the ARE to activate the transcription of its target genes.
