Measurement of aromatic amine levels in the mouse striatum 2 weeks after MPTP treatment. One-half of the animals from each group were euthanized, and brains were immediately frozen on dry ice prior to HPLC analysis. Striatal sections from each hemisphere were isolated separately and processed as described in the materials and methods section.
