Effect of magnolol on ROS production in MPP⁺-treated human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. Cells were incubated with H₂DCF-DA for 30 min at 37°C. And then, 2.5 mM MPP⁺ in the presence or absence of magnolol (1 or 3 μM) were exposed for 24 h. ROS production was assessed by DCF fluorescence. These are representative results from two independent experiments. Results are means ± SD (𝑛=3). Statistical comparisons were carried out by one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s test. *𝑃<0.05 versus vehicle (DMSO), ^##𝑃<0.01 versus MPP⁺ + vehicle (DMSO).
