Effect of a Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Formulation on Cell Survival and Apoptosis of MPP+-Treated MES 23.5 Dopaminergic Cells

Percentage of Annexin-V-positive cells was analyzed by flow cytometry. MES23.5 cells were treated as described in Figure 2. MPP+ (100 μM) increased the percentage of Annexin-V-positive MES23.5 cells. Posttreatment of CRJ resulted in the decrease of Annexin-V-positive MES23.5 cells after the exposure of MPP+. Data were represented as mean ± SEM in three independent experiments. , MPP+-treated cells as compared to control. , CRJ + MPP+ groups as compared to MPP+-treated cells.
