The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism rs1014290 of the SLC2A9 Gene Is Associated with Uric Acid Metabolism in Parkinson’s Disease

Frequency of rs1014290 in PD patients and controls in a Han subpopulation. The frequency of the natural CC genotype is significantly higher in PD patients as compared to the controls, and less TT and CT genotypes are observed in PD patients. Analysis of C and T alleles revealed significant differences between groups.
