Prenatal Rosiglitazone Administration to Neonatal Rat Pups Does Not Alter the Adult Metabolic Phenotype

Effect of RGZ on postnatal weight gain. RGZ was administered prenatally at doses of 0.3 mg/kg and 3 mg/kg i.p. doses. Another group was treated prenatally with i.p. dexamethasone (Dexa, 0.25 mg/kg) doses. Weight was recorded every 2 weeks starting at week 4 until week 14 and on the day of sacrifice. There were no significant differences between study groups through out the observation period.
