Effects of GW0742 on PPARδ expression and cardiac troponin I phosphorylation in doxorubicin-treated neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. Changes of PPARδ expression (a) and cardiac troponin I phosphorylation (b) in DOX-treated cells by GW0742. Cells were treated with 10⁻⁶mol/L GW0742 for 1 hour before the incubation with 10⁻⁶mol/L DOX. After 24 h, they were harvested for measuring PPARδ protein expression (a) and cardiac troponin I phosphorylation (b) by Western blot. All values are expressed as mean ± SEM (𝑛=6 per group). ^∗𝑃<0.05, ^∗∗𝑃<0.01, and ^∗∗∗𝑃<0.001 as compared with DOX-treated cells.
