Effects of GW0742 on intracellular calcium release in DOX-treated neonatal rat cardiomyocytes. Changes in intracellular calcium concentration were detected by Fura-2 using a fluorescence spectrofluorometer. Cells were treated with 10⁻⁶ mol/L GW0742 for 1 hour before incubation with 10⁻⁶ mol/L DOX and then used for measuring intracellular calcium concentration. All values are expressed as mean ± SEM (𝑛=6 per group). ^∗𝑃<0.05, ^∗∗𝑃<0.01, and ^∗∗∗𝑃<0.001 as compared with DOX-treated cells.
