HDAC Inhibition Modulates Cardiac PPARs and Fatty Acid Metabolism in Diabetic Cardiomyopathy

Cardiac peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) proteins in control, diabetes mellitus (DM), and MPT0E014-treated DM (DM + MPT0E014) rats. Cardiac PPAR-α and PPAR-δ protein expressions significantly decreased in DM () compared to control () and DM + MPT0E014 () rats. Cardiac PPAR-γ protein expressions were enhanced in DM () compared to control () and DM + MPT0E014 () rats.
