Mannitol Enhances the Antinociceptive Effects of Diphenhydramine as an Alternative Local Anesthetic

<div>Antinociceptive effects of diphenhydramine on the withdrawal latency time after a subcutaneous injection into the plantar surface of the right hind paw. The injection of 0.5% or 1% diphenhydramine produced a significant inhibition in withdrawal latency compared with the vehicle treatment.
