Appendiceal Intraluminal Gas: A CT Marker for Gangrenous Appendicitis

The appendix diameter is still within normal limits, but there is low-grade surrounding fat stranding. This is a false-positive case, with histological/surgical reports confirming uncomplicated suppurative acute appendicitis, without gangrenous complication.
