Biodistribution after topical administration at the wound site of AT-SCs expressing luciferase. BLI imaging of representative animals sacrificed 1 (a), 10 (b), and 15 (c) days after topical administration of luciferase-expressing cells at the wound site (). The region surrounding the wound was excided and BLI performed both with the skin facing the CCD camera (a′, b′, and c′) and on the opposite orientation (a′′, b′′, and c′′). At all time points, cells are mainly located in the lesion area with minimal spreading from the site of topical administration.
