Expansion of ASCs and BMSCs. Cells from the second passage were cultured in 24-well plates at an initial cell number of 4 × 106 cells/well for up to 10 days. The pictures show the discrepancy between the growing speed of ASCs and BMSCs. ASCs required 2 days to reach confluence, compared with 10 days for BMSCs.
