Ultrasound-Targeted Microbubble Destruction Improves the Migration and Homing of Mesenchymal Stem Cells after Myocardial Infarction by Upregulating SDF-1/CXCR4: A Pilot Study

Figure 7

Expression of SDF-1 and CXCR4 by IHC and Western blot. (a) The immunohistochemistry results showed that the number of SDF-1- and CXCR4-positive cells was highest in the MSC + UM group. There were relatively fewer positive cells in the MSC group and UM group, and the control group had the lowest number of SDF-1- and CXCR4-positive cells. (b) Protein expression of SDF-1 and CXCR4 determined by Western blot in ischemic myocardium from four groups, with GAPDH as the internal control. (c) Quantification of SDF-1 and CXCR4 expression was performed by densitometric scanning. The scale bar represents 50 μm. All values are expressed as the mean ± SD. ; versus other groups; .
