MSCs and ASCs act to promote cutaneous wound healing through a variety of mechanisms. MSCs and ASCs influence wound healing through a variety of mechanisms, including angiogenesis, promoting epithelialization, and enhancing collagen deposition and granulation tissue formation. In addition, various studies have demonstrated that transplanted cells engraft into the wound to participate in wound healing.
