Extracellular Matrix-Dependent Generation of Integration- and Xeno-Free iPS Cells Using a Modified mRNA Transfection Method

<div>Immunostaining of the iPS cells for several pluripotent cell markers. The mRNA-iPSCs generated and cultured for 15 passages in our xeno-free/feeder-free hPSC system positively immunostained for the pluripotent cell markers Oct4, Sox2, SSEA4, Tra1-60, and Tra1-81. In addition, the colonies were stained with the commonly used undifferentiated cell marker alkaline phosphatase (<i>top right panel</i>).</div>
