HE staining showed that, at day 28, a lot of typical hair follicle-like structures appeared in ADMSC-AAM seeding group (c) compared with hAM group (a) and AAM group (b). Immunohistochemistry showed that the healed epidermis was positive for cytokeratin 19. Some cells of new hair follicles were positive for both keratin 19 (green) and human derived mitochondria (red).
