Many apoptosis cells were found in chondrocytes cultured in normal medium ((a), (d)); however, ADSCs coculture system inhibited the apoptosis of chondrocytes ((b), (e)). The inhibition effect of ADSCs on apoptosis was blocked by TGF-β1 inhibitor ((c), (f)).
