Growth potential of MenSCs. (a) 10,000 MenSCs (from 5 different donors) or BM-MSCs were seeded in 6-well plates with complete medium, and the cell number was counted at days 3, 5, 7, and 10 of culture. (b) Colony-forming unit (CFU) efficiencies of MenSCs (from 5 different donors) and BM-MSCs, plated at a 500, 1000, and 2000 cells/cm2 in 6-well plates. After 10 days of culture, cells were stained with crystal violet and the corresponding colonies were counted.
