Ex Vivo Expansion of Human Limbal Epithelial Cells Using Human Placenta-Derived and Umbilical Cord-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

<div>Effect of TGFBIp on limbal epithelial cell (LEC) proliferation. LECs were incubated with TGFBIp (0–10 <i>μ</i>g/mL) for 72 h (a). LECs were preincubated with or without the FAK inhibitor CAS 4506-66-5 (1 <i>μ</i>M) and then stimulated with TGFBIp (10 <i>μ</i>g/mL) for 72 h (b). Cell proliferation was assessed by the MTT assay.
