Sex Differences of Human Cardiac Progenitor Cells in the Biological Response to TNF-α Treatment

TNF-α influences cardiac progenitor cell migration ability. Migration test performed by scratch assay on CDCs from (a) male and (b) female patients. Images were captured by phase-contrast microscopy using a 4.6x objective at 0 and 24 hours after TNF-α treatment. A representative experiment among three is shown.
