Cancer cells (H460) and the noncancerous cell line Beas-2B growing under RCCs are relatively resistant to short-term exposure to VP in combination with SF. Cells growing under RCCs were incubated with the indicated concentrations of VP and SF alone or in combination for 24 h (a) or 72 h (b). Cell viability was measured by the MTT assay.
