(b) Optical coherence tomography software was used to measure the distance between the internal limiting membrane (ILM, arrowhead) and the top of the implant (arrow). The maximum and minimum values were recorded. The delta value obtained by subtracting “maximum value − minimum value” can be used to determine if the implant is placed flat or tilted relatively to the retinal surface.
