Identification of Aberrantly Expressed Genes during Aging in Rat Nucleus Pulposus Cells

<div>Validation of microarray results by RT-PCR. Five hub genes (Cxcl1, Egr1, Fos, Igf1, and Ptgs2) and the most significantly upregulated (kininogen 1) and downregulated (periostin) genes were selected for the real-time PCR validation. GAPDH was selected as the internal control.
