Evaluation of MSC morphology and proliferation on titanium surfaces. (a) MSC morphology was assessed by confocal microscopy on MSCs stained with phalloidin and DAPI at 7 days of culture time on MCH, RBM, and NCA surfaces. (b) Cell proliferation on titanium disks was analyzed by counting cell nuclei following DAPI staining. Histograms show cell numbers after 24 hours, 48 hours, 4 days, and 7 days of culture on the three titanium surfaces. Values represent mean ± SD; No statistically significant difference was detected among the groups at any experimental time; one-way ANOVA followed by the Newman-Keuls post hoc test. Experiments were performed in triplicate. Scale bar: 10 μm.
