Effect of beer fractions on Caco-2 cells. Caco-2 cell viability was determined by MTT assay. (a) Cells treated with beer fractions solution: must (must), prehopping solution (pre-h), and posthopping solution (post-h). (b) Cells pretreated with beer fractions as above and then stimulated with H2O2 180 μM for 30. The histogram shows % of cell proliferation normalized to untreated control cells. The quantity of single treatment is expressed in μL. The statistical analysis derived from at least 3 experiments in triplicate (Student’s -test) are shown compared to the untreated control.
