Vessel Wall-Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells Share Similar Differentiation Potential and Immunomodulatory Properties with Bone Marrow-Derived Stromal Cells

<div>Relative expression levels of selected genes in MSCs derived from bone marrow and saphenous vein in resting and stimulated cells. Mesenchymal stromal cells were treated with 100 ng/ml LPS, 25 <i>μ</i>g/ml PolyI:C, 100 ng/ml TNF<i>α</i>, 10 ng/ml IL-1<i>β</i>, or 10 ng/ml IFN<i>γ</i> for 12 and 24 hours as described in Methods.
