Mechanisms for Covalent Immobilization of Horseradish Peroxidase on Ion-Beam-Treated Polyethylene

<table>Differential FTIR ATR spectra of PIII-treated UHMWPE sample exposed to air and exposed to vacuum after treatment. The PIII treatment time is 200 sec for both samples. The sample without air contact does not have oxygen-containing groups in the surface layer. The spectra were recorded on single reflection hemispherical ATR Germanium crystal. </table>
