Seed shape models based on ellipses may be used for Campanulaceae and Apocynaceae ((a) Campanula dichotoma L.; (b) Nerium oleander L.) and have been applied in the description of Euphorbiaceae seeds ((c) and (d) correspond to seeds of Jatropha curcas L. and Ricinus communis L.).
