Glibenclamide Administration Attenuates Infarct Volume, Hemispheric Swelling, and Functional Impairments following Permanent Focal Cerebral Ischemia in Rats

<table>Glib improves grip strength in a rat model of pMCAO. The rats subjected to pMCAO + vehicle showed significantly (<i>P</i> &lt; 0.05) lower grip-strength scores at both time points compared to sham + vehicle rats.
