Mild interstitial pneumonia with consolidation in the lungs in the challenge group (a, b) and hemorrhage in the lymph nodes (d) were observed when compared with the control group (f, g, i). Interstitial pneumonia characterized by extensive inflammatory cell infiltration with alveolar epithelial proliferation and moderate alveolar diaphragm widening in the lungs could be observed in challenge group pigs (c) when compared with control groups (h).
