Growth kinetics of CIV and CIVSA1 in MDCK cells and SPF eggs. MDCK cells were infected with the CIV or CIVSA1 virus at an MOI of 0.001 (a) and SPF eggs of 9–11 days were infected with the CIV or CIVSA1 virus at 104 EID50/egg (b). The viral supernatants were collected at the indicated time points. The viral titers of supernatant samples were titrated with TCID50 method. Data are shown as the mean ± standard deviation from three independent experiments. Statistical significance was calculated using two-tailed Student’s t test.
