Growth kinetics of CIV and CIV^SA1 in MDCK cells and SPF eggs. MDCK cells were infected with the CIV or CIV^SA1 virus at an MOI of 0.001 (a) and SPF eggs of 9–11 days were infected with the CIV or CIV^SA1 virus at 10⁴ EID₅₀/egg (b). The viral supernatants were collected at the indicated time points. The viral titers of supernatant samples were titrated with TCID₅₀ method. Data are shown as the mean ± standard deviation from three independent experiments. Statistical significance was calculated using two-tailed Student’s t test.
