Decentralized model of TB care delivery highlighting suggested interventions to target identified barriers. Figure 3 illustrates the transition from the traditional, centralized model of TB care delivery (central circle with the cross), which uses primary, secondary, and tertiary facility-based TB care (including government hospitals as well as community and nongovernmental organization clinics), to a decentralized model of TB service delivery that incorporates several interventions to overcome the individual-level and provider/system-level barriers identified in this review. Suggested interventions are listed with the specific barriers that each may address.
