Antimicrobial, Anti-Inflammatory, Antiparasitic, and Cytotoxic Activities of <i>Laennecia confusa</i>

<table>Anti-inflammatory activity of extracts and fractions from <i>Laennecia confusa</i>. An inflammatory process was elicited by exposing macrophages to LPS. Crude extracts were exposed to macrophages before the addition of LPS. The anti-inflammatory process was evaluated by measuring the secretion of IL-6 into the supernatant. Shown is the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. Numbers on the bars indicate the concentration of IL-6 in pg/mL.
