Isolation of a New Mexican Strain of <i>Bacillus subtilis</i> with Antifungal and Antibacterial Activities

<table>Correlation between growth and the appearance of Bs21-BLIS in the culture medium. Bacterium was grown in tryptic soy broth, and duplicate samples were collected at different times. One sample was used for measuring the optical density at 600 nm (▲) and the other for evaluating the Bs21<i>-</i>BLIS activity (■) against <i>Bacillus cereus </i>employing a fluorogenic rapid method.</table>
