Germination percentages of seeds of Senecio aquaticus stored in the fridge and buried in natural soil; displayed are means ± SE (). For germination, seeds were mixed with substrate that was spread in 5 mm thick layers. At noted dates (, ) substrate was thoroughly crumbled to provide light to all seeds.
