Prevalence of Clinically Significant Extraosseous Findings on Unenhanced CT Portions of 18F-Fluoride PET/CT Bone Scans

CT image from a 34-year-old female patient diagnosed with cancer in the left breast. The patient had surgery and regular followup care for two years. The followup unenhanced CT of 18F-fluoride PET/CT showed multiple enlarged lymph nodes including the left axillary lymph node (arrows, cm in size). 18F-FDG PET/CT six days later confirmed the presence of these metastatic lymph nodes.
