Expression of Lewis B/Y antigens, α1,2-FUT activities, and FUT1 mRNA in SW48 and DLD-1 cells. (a) Lewis B and Lewis Y antigens on the surface of SW48 and DLD-1 cells were determined using flow cytometry. (b) α1,2-FUT activities were determined by HPLC using fluorescent substrate Galβ1,4GlcNAc-CM. (c) FUT1 mRNA expression levels were determined by RT-PCR.
