Identification of recombinant N^α-terminal acetylated Thymosin α1 by RP-HPLC. Recombinant N^α-acetylated Tα1 was analyzed by RP-HPLC on a C18 column (5 μm, 4.6 × 250 mm) with a programmed acetonitrile gradient in 0.1% TFA, as detailed under “Materials and Methods.” Chromatograms are shown for (a) recombinant N^α-acetylated Tα1 (15.386 min), (b) chemically synthesized N^α-terminal acetylated Tα1 (ZADAXIN, 15.392 min), and (c) mixture of the recombinant Tα1 and chemically synthesized Tα1 (15.392 min).
