Gene Therapy with HSV1-sr39TK/GCV Exhibits a Stronger Therapeutic Efficacy Than HSV1-TK/GCV in Rat C6 Glioma Cells

Thin arrow indicated xenograft tumors derived from control C6 cells, while thick arrow represented tumors that originated from either C6-TK cells (a) or C6-sr39TK cells (b). Although complete tumor ablation was not achieved, tumors in the mutant TK groups were significantly smaller than that from the wildtype TK or control group.
